This artwork was created after an experience in a monastery in Burma. As the artist was leaving, she felt the impulse to look back. Near the altar was a photo of a Monk, resting in a place of honor. After gazing deeply into his eyes, the artist thought that they were the most honest pair of eyes that she had ever beheld. He represents Truth, and is one of the images that the artist refers to as "visual anchors to help one navigate through difficult times."
