Moonscape, Brazil
The artist visited a rock formation in Northern Brazil called Moonscape where water flows in and out of sandstone, carving an eerie sculpture garden into the riverbed. This surreal scene felt much like a primordial ocean filled with ancient bones and prehistoric relics that have existed since the beginning of creation.
This painting is the artist’s most complex work to date. It tells a story of the void—where we begin and where we return to. Sensorial imagery portrays the non-linear nature of our existence. The galaxies reflected in the water give one a holographic vision of where we stand in space and time; a reminder that the elements are alive, conscious and interconnected.
